On the bottom, you can find the timeline. On the top right corner is the preview pane.
In the top left corner is the resource pane, here you can find your videos, music, text/credit, transitions, filters, overlays, elements, and split-screen effects. The default layout of the interface is very simple, it contains 3 panes and a toolbar in the middle of the screen. The app is built for the novice or casual user, therefore, it is very easy to use. That’s the reason why I was excited to try the Wondershare Filmora app for Mac, it is totally free to use will all the premium features of paid plans. On the other hand, Final Cut Pro could set you back $300, which is out of budget of most average users.
iMovie is free but it lacks a lot of advanced features. If you’re using MacOS, the most popular video-editing apps must be iMovie and Final Cut Pro.
